Pears Point was our entry for the Missing Middle Competition hosted by the City of Edmonton. It is designed to span across five parcels originally designated for single detached houses in the community of Spruce Grove. The conceptual framework of Pears Point is based on what we call the “tetra-mix block”. It is a bridge between the townhouse model and the apartment model. In addition, it aims to provide a range of units from studio units to three bedroom units for wider range of demographics. This topped with shared roof gardens to foster a greater and healthier level of co-existence between the neighbors.
